Hi, I’m Damien Watt
Nothing about my life has been traditional. I decided at the age of 36, that despite my successful career in midstream oil and gas and my three degrees obtained during that time, that my life was still missing something. That something was purpose. So I returned to Southern University for the third time, to pursue my law degree. Despite the many challenges I experienced while working full time, being in law school full time, and welcoming my first child, I still graduated with honors. I still worked with my classmates and professors to earn Southern its first state championship in trial advocacy in 7 seven years. And most importantly, I still made time to be present for my family.
Despite the different journey to becoming an attorney, it was well worth it. In just the first few weeks of taking clients on, I knew this was the right decision. Hearing the stories of your loved ones, giving you closure on their life, and experiencing your joy as work to get your business organized has truly been transformational for me. I was hesitant to step into the world of family law because for many it represents finding closure in a season of unexpected pain. However, I was made for this. So no matter if you’ve lost a loved one, opened a new business, find yourself at the unexpected end of your marriage, or just simply need a will-give me a call today.
