Hernst Bellevue

Music Supervisor

About Hernst

Three-time Grammy nominated, multiplatinum songwriter and record producer Hernst Bellevue, also referred to as Krunk-a-Delic, says “people” have inspired his unique style. Contributing to such music genres as hip-hop, rhythm and blues, pop, reggae, dancehall and more, this Long Island raised artist’s uncompromising work serves as a direct representation of New York’s diversity. Bellevue has worked with many well-known musicians, including Elton John, Nas, Jamie Foxx, Nelly Furtado, Sean Paul and more. He has also produced songs for the “Sex and the City” and the “Sex and the City 2” soundtracks.

When asked how his interest in music began, Bellevue answers, “I’ve always been involved in music from the time I was young.” At 8-years-old, Bellevue started playing the saxophone and eventually went to school for Jazz where his talent as a vocalist also blossomed. As musical passions continued to drive him, he sought and received mentorship from record producer Salaam Remi–who is known for his work with Nas, Amy Winehouse and The Fugees– during which Bellevue realized his gift for record production. Throughout his career, spanning nearly three decades, Bellevue has often come across opportunities to mentor and collaborate with other artists.

Expanding his influence with his latest project, KrunkU–a home of inspiration and information for creatives–Bellevue explores his passions to uplift the music community and inspire a younger generation. Bellevue’s everlasting contributions to the holistic betterment of individual musicians and the urban community at large serve as his most rewarding achievements.

With new purpose and projects on the way, Bellevue states, “I wanted to make sure that I was doing things in a way where I could be of some use and help to the culture, not just the business part of it.”
